Set on a phone, and made for viewing on in ‘portrait’, Dot is a love story for the mobile age. The story follows a grey dot as he experiences the agony of not knowing whether his feelings for someone are returned. As the story unfolds, he sinks further and further into loneliness.

Dot tries to keep busy, to take his mind off it, but everything seems to remind him he’s alone. All around him he sees couples – even the birds have found love.

After a lonely day and an even lonelier night, the morning brings no comfort. The dot catches the train to work, and joining two other dots in their bubble, they resume their bouncing.

We pull wide for the first time to reveal the full mobile phone screen. Below a message that reads “Wanna hang?”, the three dots continue to bounce, until finally, the response comes: “Sure!”
